What is this about? This is a record of our travels from St Petersburg to many places in the Far East and beyond… It’s mainly for us to record the good, the bad and potentially the ugly, but it’s also (we hope) somewhere that you can check as frequently (or infrequently) to see where we are and what we’ve been up to.
We’ve no doubt that this on occasion will be REALLY boring (particularly if you’re stuck at home, going green with envy!); so we’ll try and keep those bits to a minimum. If it is however, just imagine we’re talking to you face to face and you’ll soon be overwhelmed with a feeling of wishing you/we were there!
For those of you who know me (Em) well, you’ll be looking out for tales of potential disaster; hopefully averted by a smile and a huge amount of luck. There’s also likely to be quite a lot of reference to food and drink. There’s also likely to be many occasions when you know that the ‘luck’ that I talk of, is actually down to me having the best travelling companion ever – Steve.
